The strong partnership between CSU, the Cleveland Foundation and the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) continues to provide educational opportunity. Recent Cleveland Foundation awards to CSU include: A grant to support the Teaching Fellows Program in the College of Education and Human Services. The pilot project supports 35 academic-year, paid internships for senior-year education students in CMSD early, middle, special education or secondary classrooms. The Teaching Fellows program is part of the College’s commitment to enhancing the pipeline of highly qualified eligible teacher candidates to be considered for hire by CMSD.
