The Year in Review
Thank you to everyone who supported Cleveland State University and its students during fiscal year 2017.
- The CSU Foundation secured $17 million in new gifts, pledges and planned giving.
- Foundation funds under investment totaled $83.2 million – the highest total ever -- thanks to generous gifts and prudent financial counsel.
- The number of donors supporting CSU totaled 8,011, with alumni donors totaling 5,553.
- For the fourth consecutive year, Radiance: CSU’s scholarship fundraising initiative and celebratory event, raised more than $1 million. Since its inception in 2011, Radiance has generated more than $6.1 million, providing scholarships to help students stay in school and on track to graduation.
- A total of $5.6 million was raised for scholarships, with 31 new endowed scholarships created.
- CSU’s fourth-annual online Giving Day raised $136,000 in just 24 hours. Some 1,260 alumni and friends topped last year’s giving by nearly $80,000 for scholarships, athletics, research, engaged learning and more.
