Thank you for investing in our students. Your support is transforming lives, igniting hope and pulling dreams within reach.
To Our Alumni and Friends:
This has been another remarkable year for Cleveland State University and the CSU Foundation. We concluded our first-ever campaign, ENGAGE: The Campaign for Cleveland State University, raising more than $114 million to support student success and the many initiatives in place to help CSU students stay in school and graduate. We are immensely proud of ENGAGE and the support that it received.
In addition, our investments continue to grow under the direction of the Cleveland State University Foundation. With the guidance of the CSUF Investment Committee and the professionals at Hartland and Co., funds under investment closed at $83,322,699 – a 13.2 percent return on investment – for the period ending June 30, 2017. This marks the highest year-end total in the Foundation’s history. We ended the fiscal year with $76.4 million in total endowments – an increase of nearly $10 million from fiscal year 2016. This year alone, we received $4.2 million in new gifts to support scholarships, faculty, programs and research.
Generous support from alumni, friends and the community – whether for scholarships, faculty research, academic programs or other needs – is an investment in the future of Cleveland State University, our students and Northeast Ohio. Thank you again for your support and your belief in Cleveland State University.
