One of CSU’s strongest corporate partners supports student scholarships, faculty positions, state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment, capital improvements, and more. The CSU/Parker partnership has exposed countless students to the latest technologies, providing a much-needed engineering competence in Northeast Ohio.
Students have the opportunity to work with physicians and researchers in Clinic labs and to engage in cutting-edge biomedical education. In turn, CSU provides the Clinic with Ph.D. graduates in the biomedical sciences, as well as nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and other practitioners in the allied health sciences.
With Medical Mutual’s support, CSU transformed its tennis courts into a year-round facility for use by the men’s and women’s varsity tennis teams, the University community and the public. The only indoor tennis center in downtown Cleveland will provide a new avenue for community health and wellness.
The largest producer of paints and coatings in the nation has the distinction of being CSU’s first official corporate alumni chapter. Some 560 CSU alumni are employed in S-W’s Cleveland office, while more than 800 work throughout Ohio and 3,000 work for S-W across the nation. Targeted activities and events closely link these alumni to their alma mater.
