The Year in Review
Thank you to everyone who supported Cleveland State University and its students during fiscal year 2016.
- The CSU Foundation secured $14 million in new gifts, pledges and planned giving.
- Foundation funds under investment totaled $72.7 million – the second-highest total ever -- thanks to generous gifts and prudent financial counsel.
- The number of donors supporting CSU totaled 7,072, with alumni donors totaling 5,123.
- For the third consecutive year, Radiance: CSU Realizing the Promise raised more than $1 million. Since its inception in 2011, Radiance has generated more than $4.8 million, providing 1,520 scholarships to help students stay in school and on track to graduation.
- A total of $4.2 million was raised for scholarships, with 25 new endowed scholarships created.
- CSU’s third-annual online Giving Day raised $55,000 in just 24 hours. Some 585 alumni and friends topped last year’s giving by nearly $20,000 for scholarships, research, Engaged Learning and more.
