A Message from Foundation Leadership

They are words we never tire of saying – thank you! Your generous support has made this another great year for Cleveland State University and the CSU Foundation.
Building on the success of ENGAGE: The Campaign for Cleveland State University – which raised more than $114 million – additional scholarships are being awarded while both new and enhanced success initiatives are helping CSU students stay in school and graduate.
Our investments continue to grow. With the guidance of the CSUF Investment Committee and the professionals at Hartland and Co., funds under investment closed at $88.9 million for the period ending June 30, 2018. This marks the highest year-end total in the Foundation’s history. Favorable market conditions provided a 7.2 percent return on our investments. In addition, the CSU Foundation secured $14.2 million in new gifts, pledges and planned giving while the number of donors supporting CSU totaled 8,918.
The success of the Foundation's advancement efforts reflects Cleveland State University's local and national reputation for Engaged Learning, faculty who excel at teaching and research, and partnerships that are driving Northeast Ohio's economy and quality of life. Belief in Cleveland State has never been stronger and we thank you.
