Over $2 million raised for scholarships at Radiance

Posted May 08, 2019 in Articles

For the first time in Radiance history, the CSU Foundation raised over $2 million for student scholarships. Thank you to everyone who supported.

Since its inception nine years ago, Radiance has raised nearly $10 million (and counting) to support student success and keep students on track to graduation and successful careers in Northeast Ohio.

Over 600 attendees filled the CSU Student Center for this year's reception and program, an evening puncuated by heartfelt remarks from student MaryAnn Dowdell and the awarding of the President's Medal to Barbara and Frank Sullivan and Jenniffer and Daryl Deckard, philanthropists who created the Sullivan-Deckard Scholars Opportunity Program to help students aging out of foster care attend Cleveland State University.

Watch as Dowdell, a Sullivan-Deckard scholar, deliver her powerful message about the impact of philanthropy and how it has altered the course of her life.
