Atrium Named for Donors

Vir and Genella Sondhi established the Vir K. and Genella Sondhi Endowed Scholarship through a $500,000 deferred gift. This scholarship will support undergraduate and graduate business students in the Monte Ahuja College of Business, particularly those at risk for dropping out of school because of financial challenges, helping them achieve their educational dreams and graduate with degrees that prepare them for career success.

In appreciation, CSU named the Atrium in the Monte Ahuja College of Business as the Vir K. and Genella Sondhi Atrium. Photos of the couple, donated by Vir, are displayed on the Sondhi Atrium’s first floor, near the Ahuja College of Business entrance.

Vir is a former member of the CSU Board of Trustees, the CSU Foundation Board of Directors and the College of Education and Human Services Visiting Committee. His wife, Genella, passed away this spring, soon after their gift commitment was made.
